Cleaningness the place was dusty

The place itself is pleasant - the building is situated in a nice garden. The room (and bathroom) we had were clean and neat, although rather austere (there is nothing wrong with that!).

What we found a little bit disconcerting was the communication with Mr. Mamadou. Quite a few things we asked for (such as calling a taxi etc.) were difficult for him to do. We had a feeling as if he was not too happy to see us there. Well, we'll know for the next time...

Mamadou the host was very welcoming. Was there for 2 nights and did not spend time at the lodging at all. WiFi good . There is a large fully equipped kitchen and lounge All very clean. Double bedroom is small. Nice garden. A superb driver who went beyond duty was referred to us by the host. He took us round for the 2 days we were in mbour. Iam giving 9 for the host and the driver they made our stay enjoyable

We did not like being locked inside at night without knowing any other access out. I could not take short walk around the beatiful garden early morning because door was locked. Suggst they give main door key to residents

The owner Mamadou was kind, he welcomed us to the property, where I think we were the only guests at that time. Therefore, the stay was peaceful and relaxing. The room was nice, had a mosquito net (though no mosquitos in April), and it was clean. The garden is very pretty. It is not possible to order food at this guesthouse, but there is another hotel with a restaurant just across the street (Keur Marrakis).

The breakfast was a bit basic and not included. We asked about transportation options to Joal, and the driver the owner called gave a ridiculous price of 20,000 CFA. In the end, we took a taxi from the street and the price was 5,000 CFA. So, be careful.

The location was quiet, there is indeed a nice garden inside the compound and from the room you just hear the birds singing. It is a good starting point for excursions to visit Mbour or Somone, Saly, Joal Fadiouth etc. The place was comfortable, nice room with bathrom, and an equipped shared living room and a kitchen where you could cook or warm up something to eat, we had breakfast and dinner on site. The manager Ibrahim is very welcoming and available, he met all our needs. He also organises on request sightseeing tours and navette to Dakar, thanks a lot again!

French owners were incredibly nice. Staff helpful. Room ok. Very little to do in vicinity. Beach quality poor

Didn't try brekkie because we left very early to get our flight. Watched some of the premiership football on the TV
