La atención de René y su manera tan atenta de sugerirte qué ver y compartir sus experiencias y casa. El patio interior es una maravilla, y la habitación. La presión y temperatura de la ducha es muy buena. El desayuno es muy bueno y la charla y compañía de René y su familia. Además hay una gatita preciosa. La ubicación es excelente. La casa tiene muchísima personalidad, una decoración muy cuidada y un mural en el patio interior.
Me gustó todo, eso sí, a tener encuenta que está en pleno cerro, muy cerca de los paseos y restaurantes. Eso sí, al acabar el día toca subir cuesta, pero merece la pena pues empiezas el día bajando y con los paseos casi vacíos para verlos y echar fotos.

Great stay in Valparaiso, room was really nice and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was excellent, we loved the homemade Yogurt and Bread. Rene was so kind and helped us with things to do, places to visit and answered all our questions about Chile. Their laundry next door is great too!

The owner Rene manages the B&B exceeding well and strives his best to meet the needs of the guests. A very warm and inviting accommodation nestled among walkable sights in the hills of Valparaiso, with many great cafes and promenades to catch great views of the harbor and hills. The location is also ideal for buses to Vina Del Mar and other areas in Santiago,
Rene also does an excellent job or providing information and recommendations for dining and tours. You will not regret the decision to stay here if you like warm hospitality and cozy surrounding.

Very comfortable and cosy place to stay, really close to delicious restaurants and the famous street art of Valparaíso!
Rene was an amazing host, he helped us to plan our time in Valparaíso, taught us about Chile and it's history, and the breakfast he prepared was fantastic, he was also very accommodating with timings!
Also, the laundry service provided was great!

René was a warm and welcoming host, full of information and recommendations to share about Valpo and the surrounding area. He made a brilliant breakfast every day and we really enjoyed chatting with him and other guests about music, culture and life in general. He even made pisco sours for us one night. The rooms were simple but very comfortable and location was perfect- I can't recommend La Nona enough!

René and Carolina are the best hosts. They are very disponible, with good advices, helpfull, and very nice people. The breakfast is fabulous (balanced and diversified) with a new home made twist every morning. Our four days stay was the best time we had during our three months in Chile.

The location is perfect in the middle of the old town surrounded by bars and restaurants. The hostel was one of the most hostile places I visited during my 6 weeks trip through Chile. And that has a lot to do with René, the host. He is really trying to make the best out of the stay in Valparaiso and gives a lot of hints and tips and takes his time for conversations not only about Valparaiso, also about lots of other topics. Breakfast is happening with all travellers at the same table wich always meant good conversations in the morning and I have to say breakfast is fantastic - it's alone a reason to stay at this hostel. I wish I can return one day to this fantastic hostel.

Can't say enough about this B&B. Rene and his family were so welcoming, helpful and lovely. We have made new friends. The room was comfortable, shower was warm and the location is great. Safe area with lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. Also a great breakfast. We will be staying here again if we are ever back in Valparaiso.

La Nona is centrally located near some of the best sites in town, and Renee will sit you down at the start of your stay and give you a detailed map and rundown of the town. He is a fantastic host with a lifetime’s worth of useful information about Valparaiso, the surrounding area, and greater Chile. He has connections all around Chile; this came in handy when we decided to book an ascent of Villarica Volcano in the south at the last minute. The rooms are quite large and lovely, and the breakfast spread, prepared each morning according to your plans by Renee, is impressively extensive. We felt very welcomed by Renee and his entire family and wish we could of spent more time with them.

Perfect place to find rest and good company in a warm atmosphere and located in a beautiful area of Valparaiso.
The attention of its owners is excellent. The place is simple but full of meeting spaces and dedication in every detail of the hostel.

Our stay was perfect. Rene was the best host and he taught us about Chile and Chilean culture. Further, the location is great! All in all, we cannot recommend this place enough.

René the owner is an amazing host with endless knowledge about the local area. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious. He organised a wonderful wine tour for us and well as activities in our next destination.

This place was fantastic, we loved our stay here. It is located super close to the main touristic centre, and near some bus stops to Viña del Mar and other places in Valparaiso. The owners were very friendly and gave us lots of tips and information about where to go. The breakfast was delicious with many options, and the owners even went through extra effort to prepare a great vegan breakfast for us. The B&B itself was clean and felt very COVID-safe. Would recommend 100% and come back in any future trips to the city.
