The staff from management to the one at the gate all greeted us with a smile and asked us about our health

Loved the cleanliness and welcoming staff. Everyone made sure to help us out with luggage and getting to our room as soon as we walked in. Checkin process was also relatively quick and smooth.

The breakfast options. Although we went earlier, a lot of the items looked a bit stale, old, and almost finished. Maybe focusing on making a fresh batch of bakery items along with proper refill of food to keep the turnover going for other guests.

The staff was courteous and ambiance was good. The room was comfortable.

I stayed at this hotel often from 2002 to 2007 and again from 2013 to 2018 during my time as MPA Punjab and Special Assistant to the Chief Minister of Punjab. Returning after a break, I found the food quality had dropped sharply, which was a major disappointment because I remember when it was excellent and the restaurant called Lahore Gates was full of people from all backgrounds enjoying high-quality meals. There used to be a good selection of salads, main courses, and desserts, but this time the food was very poor; I quickly developed nausea and diarrhoea and could not sleep all night after eating there before bed. I would never expect such food from a hotel that has been close to my heart for over two decades.
