Bugler Doyles Bar & Townhouse

The room was nice, bed comfortable,bathroom clean, Location was good in the centre ,so you could walk to most places. The bar was good.

Didn’t dislike anything, but room could do with a couple of little touch ups (e.g repair to one of the blinds).

What’s not to like. I regularly stay in various hotels throughout the country but finding this little gem was truly a pleasure. Unlike most hotels it had a homely feel. If I’m being honest I was anxious about it as the cost was considerably lower than other hotels in the area. But I was hugely impressed with my room (no. 31) so I’ll be looking for that room on my next visit 👌 Also the staff were most helpful in sorting out the tv for me , my IT skills quite limited 🫤 it’s just a pity that there is no food, however I had plenty of options nearby. Already looking forward to my next visit and I’ve been telling my friends and family what a special place to stay. Also I was facilitated with an early check in which I really appreciated Kind regards Noelle Lavery

Nothing 👏👏👏

The room was in an apartment block opposite the pub, car park at rear. Very modern, looked brand new, great bed and en-suite. Middle of town in easy reach of bars/restaurants.

There was a lot of noise within the property. Doors banging, you could hear taps running, toilets flushing, people talking or just walking around in adjacent rooms. Outside was even worse. People shouting, singing late at night, although you might expect this in a city centre on a Saturday night. Finally, and I’d hope this was just a one off, a man banging on a door somewhere very close by, screaming at a woman to unlock the door, using the foulest language throughout the night, meaning we got no sleep at all.
