B&B Le 4 Stagioni

B & B Stagioni was in a charming spot with a large leafy avenue where we could park our car and centrally located in Agrigento. Our room was clean & comfortable with a delightful semi private balcony.

There were some difficulties initially finding our room because it was locked away in a large off street apartment with ambiguous signage. Lilianne needed to come down to the street level to guide us with our parking spot.

In pieno centro, al secondo piano di un edificio storico, perfettamente restaurato, camera pulita e spaziosa.

Nulla, tutto bene.

Staff was very very nice and welcoming. Great experience, very clean

Unfortunately, I have to be honest about my experience. I informed the host that I would arrive by 8:00 PM. While driving through the center of Agrigento, I got completely lost because both Google Maps and Waze repeatedly directed me to the wrong location. At 7:40 PM, while I was still trying to find the property, I saw the hosts message on Booking, saying he is GOING TO CANCEL MY RESERVATION! I called the owner's daughter because I was unable to find the place, I was circling around. Thanks to her help, I arrived just in time. Parking in front of the building is paid parking, provided you can find a space. The room itself was spacious, but the towels were very thin. Unfortunately, I also did not feel that the bathroom was properly cleaned. The toilet bowl had obviously been used before my arrival and had not been cleaned, which I found very unpleasant. In addition, the bottom of the bathtub felt slimy under my feet while showering, making the whole experience uncomfortable. The next disappointment was the noise. All of the noise happened in the evening. The owner was speaking very loudly in the hall at 22,30 with newly arrived guests, making it impossible to rest. The biggest shock came at breakfast. Most of the food consisted of packaged biscuits and fruit yogurts. The owner prepared two small toasts with one slice of ham and one slice of cheese, which was fine. However, I was very disappointed to see strawberries that were literally rotten, BROWN! I regret not taking a photo because I had never seen anything like that before. I was also concerned by the orange juice container, as the lid and the upper part looked dirty and had visible OLD residue on them. Due to questionable hygiene and shocking breakfast, I would not recommended this place.
