I arrived after a motorcycle journey through torrential rain and was further delayed by a puncture in Finland. After checking in I got an email from night manager and part owner Micke which (paraphrased) said he saw how shattered I was and the sauna was on with 3 cold beers outside. I have worked and travelled around the worls including 5 start accomodation in New York and London but this hotel beat them all. The level of service delivered by all staff was top tier. Micke is a great manager and a first class communicator. When I left 2 days later I left a thank you note for Micke and 3 beers for the next weary traveller. 'Ah'll be back!!'

The restaurant downstairs was open till late night, so we can always get pizza if we arrive late

The room was quite suffocating. We got a room upstairs and it was quite hot that day. They only had small USB-supported table fans which were tricky to run, but the poor ventilation in the room created suffocation for us and we couldn't sleep properly due to that
