Distance from the city and main road is a big plus and you'll have a quiet place. Local food is delicious. Large space for walking around farm facilities.

From the gate entrance to the restaurant, a small and and separate gravel pedestrian way might help walking the distance on the side of road, especially when it rains.

Each day, you can awaken to the gentle hum of nature and the whimsical sights of resident ostriches. Yes, ostriches! La Struți isn't just a hotel; it's also an active ostrich farm. Guests can interact with these fascinating creatures, learning about their behaviors and even participating in daily feeding sessions. It's a joy for both young and young-at-heart. Where the place truly stands out is its culinary offerings. Meals are prepared with ingredients grown on-site or locally sourced, including fresh ostrich eggs and meat. The menu features traditional Romanian fare with a twist, offering the unique opportunity to savor ostrich dishes prepared to perfection. Staff service is warm, creating a homely atmosphere that resonates through the entire stay. If you're seeking a destination that combines relaxation, novelty, and a touch of adventure, La Struți is your perfect choice.

The gardens and the ostriches are very well taken care of. The location is very quiet, a long way from the main road. The accommodation is cheap.

The road to the accommodation is unpaved (we knew this in advance). The room was very cramped, there was only one power outlet. There was absolutely no heating in the room, although they had an electric heater it did not work. We have seen cleaner rooms in our lifetime. Host wasn't particularly nice when we arrived a bit late.
