La Cocotera Boutique Hostel & Coworking

The rooms were cute and clean, and the beds were very comfortable. It was very silent, so sleeping was no issue. The vibe of the hostel was very relaxing. The kitchen was beautiful, very clean and with all necessary utensils. Also the drawers to keep your food were very well divided and there were stickers and markers to tag your food. Moreover, the lighting in the kitchen made breakfast there very enjoyable. There is also a very nice and relaxing rooftop. The staff was very helpful and polite. The location was fantastic, it was a small walk away from the beach and it is right next to the most beautiful part of the historical centre.

The rooms were a bit small, and there were no lockers were you could safely lock away your stuff. The vibe of the hostel was not a very sociable one, so if you intend to meet people to go out for drinks or party, maybe this is not the best option.

We had a private room for two people which was great.

Lower bunk mattress had seen better days maybe, but I am very picky about mattrasses. I felt well energised in the morning regardless

I like the location. The property is closed to everything a tourist needs: bar, restaurants, museums etc.

I didn’t like the kitchen. The kitchen is too small for the amount of guesses that stayed in. Guess make sure you eat out, otherwise you’ll have a problem using the kitchen always overcrowded depending the time you are going to cook. I didn’t like the long term guesses. My suggestion: if they are planning to stay a long term in Tarifa/ Spain they would be better off renting / share an apartment elsewhere at the vicinity.
