Unique and very relaxing way to discover the backwaters individually and to experience local people life, culture and nature (birds!). The boat stuff was very friendly and supporting, open to arrange special wishes. A 2 day trip is a perfect duration to go deeper into the backwaters and to escape 1 day tourism (must be very crowded during high peak winter season)

Nothing really remarkable, possibly the sleeping cabins and living area can be fit out a bit more cosy, however it was clean and functional. Possibly mosquito window net in the cabins would be useful for those which do not like to use AC during night

not well maintained, no cleanliness, bed sheets were not clean, there was no AC remote to control the temperature. There were bed bugs, lot of mosquitoes, insects and lizards everywhere, including dining table where they served us food. Staff askd us to turnoff the lights and music after 9:30 pm , what is the fun without music? Overall, bad experience.

The boat was comfortable and very clean. Suitable and also clean bed. Tasty food (but not spicy, cooking especially for europeans). Friendly team

A bit of luxury Indian standards. We were looked after well and the food was fantastic. Such a serene and beautiful day.

We got a slight electric shock from the shower. Other than that it was first class and worth the money.

Until we got to the boat, we never quite believed that we would be the only passengers. We were and it was delightful. The route twists and turns round the Alleppey waterways and there is wildlife and human activity to see at all times. The food was sensational but we couldn't eat even half of it, so I was pleased to hear the crew eat the same food. Our captain pointed out sights to us and we had an interesting chat about birds, which he pointed out and we named. The overnight stay in a remote side canal was perfect for us as we were able to walk along the towpath, identifying birds in the paddy fields. There were sea eagles in numbers but we were particularly pleased to see some of our favourites, such as a pair of black rumped flamebacks, a stork billed kingfisher and an oriental magpie robin singing its heart out.

The only reason I am not giving a 10 score is that when the captain was off duty, the crew spoke no English and so we couldn't ask questions. I missed a chance to photograph a snake boat as a result, as we had almost passed it when I spotted it and it was the only snake boat on the route. We also couldn't communicate with the cook, to express our gratitude. Better directions to the mooring would be helpful.

The booking was went wrong somewhere and they didn’t reserve the boat for us. We went all the way to there and returned back to hotel. We were very disappointed I want recommend anyone for this place
