B&B Bed& Fly - Mamma Mia

Cheapest accommodation near the airport. The owner allowed us to check into the room a few hours early for a small additional fee of 10 euros.

The refrigerator has a bad smell. Although we needed it, we didn't use it.

B&B comodissimo per l’aeroporto, facilmente raggiungibile e con possibilità di parcheggiare in strada proprio di fronte alla struttura. Il check-in ha un orario piuttosto limitato, dalle 19.30 alle 23.00. Non ne ho compreso molto la ragione, considerato che si tratta di un self check-in; nel nostro caso, comunque, l’orario era perfettamente compatibile con le nostre esigenze. La struttura si trova sopra una pizzeria, ma durante il nostro soggiorno non abbiamo avuto alcun problema di rumore. Nel complesso, un’ottima soluzione per chi cerca un alloggio pratico e comodo per l’aeroporto.

Peccato soltanto che, prima della prenotazione, non abbia ricevuto risposta alle mie domande. È un aspetto che sarebbe sicuramente da migliorare

Il proprietario molto gentile e simpatico . La casa situata molto vicino all aereoporto, posto molto carino!

The bathroom was modern. Other than the smell, the room did seem clean.

The checkin times are extremely limited. This was not a problem for me, so I booked. It became clear why this is after: this accommodation limits service as much as possible to get you to pay for these basics (like more regular check-in times) afterward. This is not stated in the booking.com ad, and I find it bad practice. I had to give my expected arrival time beforehand. However, on arrival, there was nobody there. I had not received instructions that it would be self check-in (nor were any instructions left at reception) and it was very difficult to reach anybody. The phone number as stated in the booking.com contacts did not pick up, nor has anybody responded to my messages. There are also two numbers on the door; the first number also did not reach anybody. Finally (this process took about 45 minutes and was in the evening as per the strange check-in times), I reached somebody with the second number. Due to the restaurant noise next door and limited english from the hotel employee it was difficult to get him to understand that I had booked a room and he initially told me to go away and find a different hotel. When he finally realized that I hàd a reservation, his first concern was not to get me inside, but to tell me to pay the tourist tax. The whole process was unpleasant. Finally inside, the first thing that I noticed was the horrible sewage smell. I expect that it came from the shower drain. I would have kept the window open, except that the hotel is based near the airport and planes flying over are not great for sleep. The sound insulation between the rooms is also poor, so if you stay here you do need earplugs! Overall, I'm glad I only stayed one night.
