Aurora

Located across the road from the beach. We had a double & single bed in our room we also had a lovely big balcony which we sat and enjoyed our evenings. The outdoor shower was a lovely touch as well. Staff were friendly and breakfast was traditional English and was just ok, nothing special.

It was a little on the expensive side, however the size of the room was big so it was ok

Hotel pulito. Camera molto spaziosa. Ci sono a disposizione molti asciugamani, anche per la piscina. Ogni giorno viene fornita acqua in bottiglia in camera. Colazione buona e abbondante.

Personale gentile, ma non espansivo come altri posti dove abbiamo alloggiato.

Struttura bellissima immersa nella natura, ci sono delle simpatiche scimmie, diverse dalle classiche che si vedono in Sri Lanka, dovrebbero essere langur dalla faccia viola! Piscina super e camere con bagno esterno molto bello

Forse la colazione potrebbe essere un po’ più varia, ad esempio stamattina c’era pollo al curry e lenticchie che non siamo riusciti a mangiare alle 8 del mattino…

We were there during low season, so it was really quiet and it felt like we had most of the place for ourselves. The staff was amazingly helpful and kind, especially the manager, the most receptive and efficient of all the hotels we stayed in in Sri Lanka. The hotel is beautiful inside and out. The pool and the greenery around it makes it feel like you're swimming in the jungle. Our room was freaking amazing, with high ceilings and 4-post beds, a dreamy terrace with sofa and chairs but the most amazing thing for us was the bathroom: modern and well-equipped first but when you turn your head to the shower you can see natural light and air pouring in from the ceiling (there actually an opening in the ceiling above the shower) and the side wall is full of plants, again it feels like you're taking the most relaxing shower in the jungle but with all the comforts of a high-end hotel.Breakfast is rich and healthy, with lots of fresh fruit, eggs, jam and toast, coconut pancakes and freshly made juices. They were also kind enough to let us stay in the pool after check out. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Just one tiny thing: the rooms are not very sound-proofed so sound travels a bit.
