We loved our stay at the Welsh Snug Oak Hut. Rain or no rain, it was the perfect little escape. The views across the farm were breathtaking, yet the hut still felt wonderfully private and peaceful. Our dog adored the secure garden, and we felt completely at ease letting him potter around. The owners were genuinely lovely: kind, welcoming, and full of helpful tips about local walks and dog‑friendly spots. The hut itself was spotless and beautifully put together, with everything we needed and sweet touches like a welcome pack of biscuits. The information folder was brilliant too and made exploring the area so easy. A gorgeous stay in a gorgeous place. Highly recommended.

We have nothing negative to say about this stay!

- the hosts were very friendly - well put together guide of things to do in the local area - snug bed / comfy mattress - views from the top of the farm - attention to detail with regards to eco friendly choices and suppliers

We went for 3 days, it had the most amazing view to wake up to. The bed was the coziest! We will be back.

I have nothing bad to say about the property.

It was private in regard to where located. Several accommodation units at property. The view was lovely in the rural setting.

There was a firewall on the internet which prevented me downloading emails for work. The internet kept dropping out. The bed was hard and the pillows not very comfortable. The bed quite high up and could only access from one side which made it difficult for the person next to window to get out. The three steps had no handrail and I had to access side on to feel comfortable about traversing. Upon arrival we knocked several times on door of house to no reply. We had been told we would be met upon arrival. There was no sign with a name of the hut we had booked on it. We therefore presumed we were at the wrong place and spent the next 30 minutes driving around in narrow lanes until someone directed us back to where we had started. The owner evidently had ear buds in and had not heard us knocking.
