Great location, very comfortable bed, a luxurious room
If you have the top room be prepared for a lot of steep stairs.
Being charged additional for orange juice at breakfast was odd.

Lovely character building. Very clean and brilliant location. Crisp sheets, comfy pillows and mattress. Fabulous bathroom with massive bath and separate shower. Lovely tea bags and great coffee bags. Spacious room.

The hotel is in a great location, close to the marina, nice long walks along the sea front and also close to the shopping area. The room was spacious and had a very comfortable bed and great views of the harbour.
Unfortunately the water to our room kept cutting out, we were told by one staff that it was a problem with the water pressure but that was not confirmed as it was working in some parts of the hotel but not our room.. Thankfully we had our showers when some water dripped through but overall the water issue was very disappointing. We used bottled or a jug of water to clean our teeth. Also some staff were quite off, breakfast was served by the young lady with no enthusiasm, perhaps the stress of no water was to blame.

"Beautiful historic hotel right on the seafront. Gorgeous views from the clean lovely rooms. Excellent, kind and attentive staff and fantastic breakfast at a very affordable price. Highly recommend."
