My room was next to the kitchen and the breakfast area, but it was still quiet. It was quiet in the evenings too. The bed was comfortable. There was a working electric kettle in the room.
The elevator worked.
I was checked in later than usual — again, the reception staff were very good!
I left my things after checking out — everything was stored very responsibly.
It was stuffy; there was no air conditioning because the building is very old.
There was no refrigerator.
The room was very small.

La struttura si trova a due passi dal centro di Lione; pur essendo di piccole dimensioni offre un servizio impeccabile . Pulizia ed una colazione super. Non sempre il buffet è sinonimo di qualità, la colazione del Vaubecour non è a buffet ma offre una qualità da hotel di classe superiore.

The location is great, near all sightseeings. The room was clean. Small elevator made my life easier to get in with big luggage. The bed was rather comfortable.
There is no AC and it’s the biggest issue during summer time. There is no mini bar or fridge in the room as well. So you can use cold water from breakfast room until it’s available. Breakfast is not my favorite one (2 peace of cheese, croissant, baguette, butter and jam), such breakfast you can find in any cafe around
