Ubud Wins Bungalow

Lovely pool and garden. Very clean. Helpful staff.

We stayed here for five nights, and everything was perfect. The room was very spacious and spotlessly clean, and the staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful. Breakfast was served at a restaurant just around the corner. We also appreciated the takeaway breakfast prepared for us on the day of our departure, as well as the very late check-in. The entire property is beautifully designed in a traditional Balinese style, which is not fully reflected in the photos on Booking.com. The only thing we regret is that we did not have a chance to use the swimming pool, as we spent our days exploring the island. However, the pool looked very clean and inviting. We highly recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again!

Ubud Wins Bungalow is a hidden gem. It is easy walk from the main area but in a street that is tucked in so it is quiet (trust me you don't want to be on the busy streets!) There are shops and convenience stores close by for your shopping needs, and good warungs close by for food (I recommend Savannah Moon and ACME warungs). There is no elevator in the hotel so you do need to be able to carry your luggage up the stairs. I stayed in the top most room and the view was spectacular - you have the whole floor to yourself so it feels like a private level. The accommodation is basic, but the bed is comfortable and my room was SPACIOUS! The room pictures posted on their website is accurate. This is not for those looking for a glamorous hotel. But, if cleanliness, comfort, and good views are enough for you, then you will love Ubud Wins Bungalow. They also have free breakfast with good menu options in their attached restaurant. I've met the owner and talked to her a few times during my stay and she is lovely and helpful.
