"The peace of these cottages is incredible. The facilities are great. The wear and tear on the rooms is irrelevant when you listen to the river outside the window."

Great that we were not limited to times and could get up and chill.

Windows in need of cleaning and there was a lot of insects inside the property and outside the windows. One of the beds was also uncomfortable and creaky.

The location and its history are fantastic. We stay in a self catering cottage and it was roomy. The hotel facilities are really good and the pool is a decent size. Plenty of fabulous dog walks.

The property decoration was a bit dated and the shower was a stand in the bath type, which isn’t the easiest to access and egress.
