We left our hearts at Bordo dei Fondi! Truly a very special place that made it very hard to leave for our Tuscan sightseeing everyday because we loved the peace and charm of the ancient home. We had the privilege of staying for 5 nights and it truly felt like home. David met us for check in and was a super host! He showed us everything and explained the history of the ancient home. He took the time to go over maps he had made to make life easier since the back roads can be confusing. David also made great sandy beach recommendations that made for a much needed relaxing “day off” from sight seeing. His kindness was evident when we had an issue with our rental car and he attempted to call Avis on our behalf. We stayed in the 2 bedroom upstairs unit and had a full kitchen and a private loggia to eat our meals. We didn’t think we would cook but we were so charmed by the place we made several meals by picking up fresh pasta and other local goodies and wine. We were SO sad to leave but all good things must end. Thank you David and Simona for sharing this special place with the lucky few who book it! The pool was so relaxing after a long day and the beauty of the grounds was truly relaxing! Grazie Mille!
Tutti Bene!! Drivers should note that there is some driving on an unpaved road. And of course, since it is in the countryside there are no street lights. This is rural, country living. But you can adjust and slowly realize this is why you come to Tuscany! The lighting is so different and sunrises and sunsets here are the only entertainment one needs. We hope to be back someday!

The property was very peaceful, beautiful, and exceptionally clean. All the main attractions were easily accessible by car. Davide was incredibly kind and supportive throughout our stay—he even went to the pharmacy for us when we needed help. We truly felt looked after!
