Amber Hostel

The location was just perfect, very near to the heart of Krakow and close to the main train station. The ladies who clean the hostel in the morning show such dedication to their work.It was just pristine, so clean throughout the hostel. The bedroom was a good size and both my bedroom and shared bathrooms were really nicely decorated throughout.Would stop here again

The road in front of the hostel can be quite noisy. Most of the time this wouldn't be a problem as the window can be shut however as the weather was very hot, the window needed to be opened and so might affect some people who are sensitive to noise. I wear hearing aids, so it didn't affect me too much after taking my hearing aids off for the night. But the hostel is a real bargain for the price

Good location. Clean and comfortable and was quiet enough for a good nights sleep

Al as expected

Convenient location very close to the old town square. Easy check in process (we didn't even see a person) and suitable for an overnight stay.

Very cramped bathroom (and the shower was missing one of the screens). Our room was on the street level and quite noisy - ask for a quiet room.

Good location

The only staff in the property were cleaners. The reception was not open when we arrived at 16:00 in afternoon and was never staffed during our four day stay. No information about access was provided before our arrival so had to phone to get entry info for the building and room. Although advertised there were no clothes washing facilities. No soap in dispenser for sink or shower. No plug in sink. Dirty knickers found on radiator in room. Only one plug in room in inconvenient location. Contact via email regarding washing machine not replied for two days and response then in Polish and told to go to a laundry in the neighbourhood. The first night we were cold as no heating and quilt provided was very thin so had to mime a request to the cleaner to get another blanket for the beds.
