Our host, Ivo, made every effort to welcome us and make our visit perfect! He quickly made it feel like we were visiting a friend, sharing stories, jokes and insightful information. Breakfast was exceptional. The view is stunning. The stair climb up from the old city is challenging, but we needed the work-out (LOL). Comfortable little apartment and loved the new Jacuzzi. Will hopefully return.

Liked everything.

The host was really helpful Helped with top tourist attractions and he was always available to assist.

Good for fitness as quite a few steps down to the old town. (15 min walk)

The view is amazing

A lot of stairs but you can take bus number 3 in front

I enjoy traveling, meeting other travelers, connecting with locals while feeling the freedom of coming and going as I please while experiencing my environment in its entirety. Ivo and Maria at Apartments Baltazar provide a place that feels like home for a seriously great value. Exceptionally clean and comfortable living space with a beautiful view and summer breezes of Dubrovnik and the sea with privacy. Wonderful chats and relaxation with hosts and other Travellers at breakfast/day time/evenings when convenient. Full European breakfast provided every morning. Attentiveness is their priority, and humor and love in every contact. It really felt like a second home away from home. Accommodations for lift to and from airport were provided and added to bill at a VERY reasonable rate. Ivo provides tons of great tips to ensure you get the MOST of your time in Dubrovnik, especially of you are new to the city. A very worthwhile stay.

I love training, but there are a lot of steps! Not unique to Apartment Baltazar but worth mentioning. Come physically and mentally prepared especially for July/August.
