It was very characterful spacious accommodation in the middle of the san pellegrino medieval district. The bed was comfortable and the shower was good.

Unfortunately the owner changed our booking a couple of days before we arrived to a different suite. They said the original one wasn't available. We had originally booked a suite with a kitchenette, washing machine and a garden space because those facilities were important to us but we were 'upgraded' to a larger suite which had no kitchen, washing machine or outside space. There was a coffee machine, fridge and microwave, but no plates, glasses or cutlery. No kettle, so to make tea you had to heat water in the microwave. The owner offered us free breakfast (coffee and crosissant) and aperitivo at a bar 5 mins away when we asked how they could compensate us which was a nice gesture but didn't make up for the lack of facilities we had originally selected.

Pleasant stay in an interesting part of town. Good communication from the host although we never met. Local area was well serviced with restaurants and bars but busy on a Saturday and not possible to get a table for dinner

I booked it as a hotel or B&B expecting to meet operators onsite but I didn't see anyone for the 2 days I was there. Sitting room looked to be set up for breakfast or meals but none offered

Very unusual property so quirky Comfortable beds Very friendly and helpful owner Excellent directions Great pizza restaurant 2 mins away

Nothing
