Hotel Tierra Gaucha

La ubicación es ideal para dejar el auto en el estacionamiento y caminar por el centro de la ciudad, muy limpio todo y tiene una vista al lago excelente

I was given a fairly large room in a five-story hotel. The hotel is located 200 meters from a large lake, and the guest rooms overlook it. The city center begins on the next street over. There is a large supermarket 200 meters away, and the same street is lined with numerous shops, cafes, banks, and places to rent outdoor gear; you can buy a prepaid SIM card there. Gas stations and other useful amenities for tourists are also nearby. A large ski resort is located 25 km away. The room features a double bed and a fully equipped bathroom. The reception staff speak English and are very friendly; there is a water dispenser (hot and cold) near the front desk, and you can get dishes from the staff. The buffet breakfast isn't huge, but it is sufficient. The hotel has its own parking lot, which is a valuable asset in Bariloche, where parking is scarce.

There was nothing I did not like. I want to warn tourists that Argentina uses specific electrical outlets, so you should bring the right adapters with you. For mobile phones, I recommend using "Claro" prepaid SIM cards; they can activate them quickly right at the point of sale. Never buy "Personal" cards—they are only good for Argentines. For foreigners, they are a huge headache and a waste of money. You have to find an official company office to register the card, and the staff there rarely speak English and are completely unfriendly (in Bariloche). Ultimately, you won't be able to register the SIM card, and you won't get your money back. That part I definitely did not like.

O banheiro foi muito mal projetado, o vaso sanitário fica quase debaixo da pia, sem espaço

The hotel is located close to Bariloche center and they have free private parking. Also very close to the lake. Nice breakfast and freindly staff.

Maintainance of the room was poor and thw room was not very clean. We found hair on the blanket when we got the room.
