Two nice bathrooms, three bedrooms with excelent beds, a well-equipped kitchen, this house offers everything you need for a hassle free, comfortable stay. The simple garden offers a semi-shaded porch, a good dining set, lounge chairs and a gass-BBQ. We partically liked the fact that it was north-faced and sheltered from the very hot weather (34 degrees). The house features gadgets such as build in radios in the bathrooms and motion detectors for corridor lighting. The friendly host had prepared a fruitbasket and bottle of win for us. A garage was available to park our car. The location is in a quiet residential area, 3 kilometers from the highway, a shopping mall and a supermarket, and about the same distance to the historic centre and barock schlossgarten of Blankenburg. Nearby highlights include the Teufelsmauer and the 458 meter long TitanRT pedestrian bridge.

We would recommend a blind or curtain for the large roof window in the third bedroom. We had to improvise with a plastic bag and duct tape to obscure the room.
