Natwange Backpackers

Natwange has a wonderful home-away-from-home feel. It isn’t fancy, and it doesn’t have the polished, premium-hotel atmosphere. But perhaps that is exactly its charm. It brings people from different countries and backgrounds together in a way that feels natural and unforced. There is a warmth here that somehow becomes contagious, making you feel less like a guest and more like part of a little international community. One of Natwange’s biggest advantages is its location. It is within walking distance of EastPark Mall, one of Lusaka’s major shopping and dining centres. We found this especially convenient, as we could simply walk to the mall for meals rather than having to arrange transport.

Some of the bathrooms are shared, and unfortunately, some of the doors do not lock properly. This made bathing rather uncomfortable, as I was constantly on edge, wondering whether someone might walk in while I was in the bathroom. It would make a big difference if all the bathroom doors had secure, functioning locks.

Its convenient and closer to where we stayed

There was no hot water around where we slept

the food is excellent and vey tasty, the staff are amazing,the bed is very comfortable, nature around the place is perfect. the location great no matter where you want to go.

I didn't like the neighbours next to our room as they would come out at night and sit in the corridor and start chatting while we sleep, they woke us up many times and that was what made us leave because we did not get enough rest some nights.the owner should improve about putting up signs so everyone is mindful of their neighbours and making sure time is observed for silence so people can sleep without being disturbed.in the morning too some wake up very early and they talk loudly outside, not minding about the neighbours. this is the only complaint we have as a couple
