Great location, clean and tidy. Everything you need for your stay

Property was clean, spacious and aesthetically pleasant

I stayed here at the beginning of September, and the hostesses were incredibly welcoming and warm-hearted. They were so helpful and gave great advice on absolutely everything, from navigating public transport to booking a table at a restaurant. The location is perfect, situated right between two fantastic viewpoints. As for the apartment itself, it was spacious, spotlessly clean, and comfortably furnished. The breakfasts at Balta were huge, delicious, and offered a wonderful variety. I highly recommend Sao Miguel Apartments! (and Balta breakfasts, too!)

Everything was great - no negative impressions

The location was near the centre, which was great and very walkable. The host was absolutely incredible and so so helpful. Beautiful view from two of the bedrooms.

1. There was INSANELY LOUD construction outside 2/3 bedrooms the entire stay that started right at 7am every day (where we were trying to sleep and our kids), which the property *must* know about, but had not mentioned. It's ongoing for years (according to the public permit) so to not mention that is wild to me. We were happy with the place and location and it's not that easy to move 6 people, but wow was that a massive disappointment. 2. Also, there's only 1 bathroom in the 3 bedroom apartment, and it's on a floor higher. A weird quirk, but not a dealbreaker. 3. The apartment could use some renos itself. The bathtub is cracked and the water sealant is peeling and looks moldy.
