Lovely location tucked away with plenty of wildlife around. Cockatoos, King parrots, Rosellas and Kookaburras aplenty on the verandah if you bring along some seeds for them. The house is a little old but it is has its charm and is spacious enough for 8 of us. The fireplace was wonderful for the icy cold evenings.
Every room had a much needed heater.
I loved waking up to an amazing view, looking out to the backyard with some water views.
The house was very cold and some heaters couldn't warm the room up because the house wasn't able to retain the heat. Best to bring some extra doonas/blankets or sleeping bags and lots of warm clothes over the winter months.
This gives us a good reason for lots of hot cuppas or that extra glass of vino 🍷 by the fire 🔥

Close to lake. The kids loved the bunk beds. Plenty of room for us, our kids, our parents and our pets.

was nice to be out of town in a beautiful country setting
dead mouse on couch on arrival and mouse droppings on one bed, but that wasn’t anyones fault

House is very comfortable , clean & has lovely presence .

there was a little bit of rubbish left around the outside possibly from previous tenants

Sunny Corner was such a wonderful place to stay for our winter getaway. The fireplace was just superb and it really felt like home. Location is exceptional. Large property for the kids to run around and play and the view from the porch is beautiful. Very close to Eildon town centre.
We will definitely return again.

Location, waking up to the sounds of the birds
1. There is no potable water. we were told we can boil tank water and use but the water was muddy/unfiltered (no filter provided either). would have appreciated if that was there in the description.
2. Electric stove - if 2 burners are turned on at the same time, it trips. Electricity needs attention.
3. Electronics like TV etc, remotes were not working properly
4. Heater in (ensuite) bathroom doesn't work.

Fantastic location very peaceful and clean, spacious, full of facilities on good price definitely gonna come back feels like home will book second time for sure...
Just heaters can be better.
