Great place to stay for beautiful fall weekend in Point Pleasant area

The house was as pictured, no surprises. The kitch was very well equipped for the large group. Dining table allowed everyone to be together for meals. We borrowed a family high chair and porta crib for our one year old. Bedrooms were comfortable. Master suite is beautiful. Location was good and the beach was very nice. Melinda was easy to work with and tracked us down for lost jewerly before we left Point Pleasant to return it. Nice service offered to mail it back. Highly recommended.

We had a very bad experience with a different VRBO last summer so we were quite nervous going into this year. From the time we first contacted him, Denis was courteous, helpful and prompt in responding. The house was even better than we had hoped, with literally every amenity we could want. And it was spotless, as promised. The area is amazing -- so quiet yet a 2 block walk to the private beach and a 1 mile stroll to the heart of Jenkinson's Boardwalk. We certainly hope we can stay here again! Thank you, Denis.

We originally planned a family reunion to celebrate the 80th birthdays of my father and his twin brother in 2020. Covid ruined that plan and pushed everything back to 2022. But we were finally able to get 3 generations together to celebrate and we had an amazing week. The house is perfect for a large group, especially the well-stocked kitchen. The 1st floor bedrooms were vital for one of our family who uses a walker and the bunk room took care of the kids. We took full advantage of the beach badges (only a 5 minute walk) and large supply of beach chairs, as well as the grill and the outdoor seating on the patio. The communication from Denis was there throughout the process so everything went smoothly. I would definitely recommend this property!

Spent a great week in July at Denis’ property, with 3 other families and had an amazing time. Short walk to the beach and close enough to get to the boardwalk quickly. Everyone had an awesome time.

We had a wonderful time living in this beautiful, spacious and comfortable house, walking distance to the beautiful beach. Lots of amenities including beach chairs, carriers, sand toys and boogie boards enhanced our stay. Denis, property manager, was very responsive, made good recommendations for restaurants nearby. When the internet went out he came over immediately to fix it. He responded to all texts quickly. I highly recommend 412 Carter Ave and Denis!

Great house for a family gathering!
Large, clean property easily able to accommodate a family gathering. The host was great, and very communicative. The proximity to the beach was fantastic, and also just a short drive from the boardwalk. Would definatly stay here again.

No complaints outside of the WiFi outage. We arrived Tuesday evening and left Saturday morning, WiFi went out Tuesday night and Xfinity could not repair until Thursday midday. The owner Denis was a nice guy and tried to help (and gave us a small amount for a dinner on him) but ultimately was reliant on Xfinity to come to the property to inspect. Ultimately they completed some line work and suggested the owner needed an upgraded modem as it was quite old. It’s honestly our only complaint about the stay, but given the price point we paid I expected a more generous refund. Without WiFi for half the trip at this price point just was unacceptable given the current hybrid/work from home environments most professionals operate in these days. Location was safe, about a mile from the south end of the boardwalk and the house was as advertised.

We thought we were in heaven. I looked at hundreds of rentals and this one was by far the best. The owner was very responsive to me and allowed us to check-in early and check-out late. We hope to rent the house again in the near future.

Dennis did a fine job of managing our expectations and was supremely flexible with our check in and check out process. The house is clean, but some of the things were need of repair. All in all a good time and a three block walk to a private beach.

Great experience
Everything was great! No complaints at all. The house is comfortable, as advertised, spacious, and great location! 4 bedrooms with king sized beds is rare and the rooms were all huge. We had 3 children under 5 years old and the bunk bed room was perfect. The master bedroom and suite is luxurious and an added bonus. We celebrated my parents’ 45th wedding anniversary as a family and this house was perfect. Outdoor space was awesome as well. Denis was great at communicating with us and helping us with tips for managing the boardwalk and food shopping and places to eat. Would recommend highly for any large groups. Thanks for a great vacation!

Eight of my family members stayed at the house. We were there for a wedding. The house is beautiful and easily accommodated our large family. The beach is a short walk from the house. We had a great stay here. It’s clean and Denis is great and thought of all the details. He was very communicative and accommodating. We hosted a dinner party and the kitchen was perfect for it. Location is great - there’s so much nearby. It’s also very close to the beach. We will definitely book again!

Lovely Experience
Our trip to the shore was enjoyable. The property was clean and close to the beach. Communication with Denis was easy and quick. The neighborhood was quiet and relaxing but close enough to the boardwalk so all were happy.

The beach was a gem! Not washed out like Bay Head beaches a bit to the south, and not crowded at all thanks to the private Elizabeth-Carter association beach. This was a huge plus and a big reason we're likely going to re-book for next year!

Great large house for family vacation
We had an amazing time at Denis’ property. Perfect beach house space for a large group to spread out. Plenty of space for our family of 9 adults (my sister took the room with the bunk beds). He was kind enough to be flexible with check in and check out which really made a difference. Would absolutely stay again.

Denis was a wonderful host! He was incredibly accommodating with last-minute changes and our long weekend stay couldn't have been better.
