The location. Easy access to restaurants and transportation.
Walking up stairs with heavy suitcase.

It was absolutely clean. Host was the best. She contacted us a couple days before our arrival, and checked in a couple times. Always available when texted! Definitely in the heart of Bern. Her directions to the unit was exact! Everything walkable, especially the train station. The apartment was extremely comfortable and has everything you need! Laundry made it even better. There isn't a negative thing to say. It was perfect for 2 people.
No microwave(husband noticed🤣)! BUT that's a common thing in Switzerland. And to be honest, if your a large person, bathroom will be tight. It was great for us, but it's small....not the shower! Just the room itself.

We have been here several times and always look forward to returning. Staying in this little apartment in the old town is actually part of the pleasure we get when we visit Bern. We wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else.
For us there was nothing to dislike

Great location in the old town, clean, decent bed, presence of a kitchen. Host Valerie seemed responsive and checked with me during my stay to see if I wanted fresh towels and trash pick-up, as I was staying longer than a week.
Shower water temperature fluctuated wildly -- it was often too cold and sometimes too hot; no wardrobe or dresser to store clothing during stay (though there was a small sort of rack to hang some clothes); noisy neighbours in building during night-time hours (even quite late), kitchen was not well equipped -- no bowls, very few cooking utensils and pots.
