We really enjoyed our stay at the villa and had a lovely time. The pool was clean and well looked after, and the rooms were really big and spacious, which made the villa very comfortable for our stay. The host was extremely helpful and friendly, and was always happy to help whenever we had any questions. The bus stop just at the end of the road was really handy and made getting into Victoria easy. We bought a bus pass through the Tallinja app, where there are 4-day and 7-day options, which we found really useful. If you’re buying a single bus ticket, you can also use it for other journeys within the 2-hour validity period. The location is quite out of the way, though, and there isn’t really anything within a short walking distance, so this is something to keep in mind for anyone who has difficulty walking or doesn’t have access to a car. There are also stairs to all of the bedrooms, so this is worth bearing in mind for anyone who has difficulty climbing stairs. The bus was great for getting around, but you do need to travel for shops, restaurants and other amenities. There was also a slight smell in the living area during our stay. We imagine this may simply be due to the age and character of the old farmhouse, and it didn’t affect the rest of the villa or spoil our stay at all, but we thought it was worth mentioning. Overall, we had a great stay and really enjoyed the villa. It was spacious, comfortable and the host was lovely and very helpful. The few things we’ve mentioned didn’t put us off enjoying our stay, and we would happily recommend the villa and consider staying again.

One small disappointment was that there wasn’t a washing line, which would have been handy, especially with the pool. There was a clothes horse provided, though, so we were still able to hang clothes out to dry. The only other thing we weren’t aware of before arriving was that the air conditioning works with a meter that only accepts €1 and €2 coins. It would have been useful to know this in advance so we could have brought some change with us.

What did you like? 🤔 What's not to like about this place. We had been looking at pictures of this for months but it's not until you walk up the little alley and through the nothing special front door that you realise that you have just walked into something special!! This was our 5th visit to Gozo and we have had a different farmhouse in 4 different villages and every one of them phas had us speechless but this is by far the best. Right from the start we had excellent communication with the hosts and on arrival met Alexandra who showed us around. What a lovely lady, so helpful, even had some supplies in the fridge. Bread,meat,cheese fresh tomatoes,eggs, milk,water and WINE 😃..Grazzi Hafna. Anyway I could go on and on but it would only spoil the surprise if you do get lucky enough stay here. Alexandra and Aldo, Thanks again for a great stay.
