Es war leider nicht das was wir gebucht haben. Es gab ein Upgrade….. welches aus unserer Sicht keines war. Das Zimmer welches wir gebucht haben wäre nicht frei. Fertig! Es war sehr enttäuschend

interesting concept, friendly and supportive staff
the room was in the first floor and very dark with a lot of furniture that made it difficult to move. it did not correspond to the pictures online. May be it was because i had a dog with me. however, it would be good to know from the beginning what to expect

The location is good - but explanations on parking could have been better. The room did have excellent heating - self regulated. It was off season so there was no personnel in the building we were - the facilities like small kitchen with kettle and teas is probably is better stocked in season. The bed was comfortable and amenities good.
The room that we booked was not that in the photos. It was on the ground floor looking to the back - brown walls and has little light - in the photos of the room that we booked it appear to have windows looking out from an elevated floor. it felt more like a basement room - no view.

The village is very nice and we were met by a very nice young man, who helped us with our luggage.
The rest of our stay was very disappointing.
They say it is luxury, but there is no luxury in having a small bedroom, up forty stairs (no lift) and with no view worth talking about.
Is it luxurious to have to walk three minutes for breakfast, then to walk even further away for doing the check-out
in another place (without a smile) ?
The "tea corner" is in a humid cellar, where the sink, hidden behind a curtain, seems to be the same as used by the cleaners.
We were happy to have only stayed one night.

Great location, great place. Rooms were amazing, clean, neat and pretty much brand new. Staff were very helpful when they could assist.
No public transport or transfers available. I would suggest the hotel arrange something that will assist people who aren't driving.

Location, breakfast was good but not that close a walk.
Small terrace, the electricity key shouldn't be on the room key. End up in your room in the dark looking for the keyhole to unlock / lock the door. The office and breakfast are not in the same building, you must walk for both.

I booked this quite last minute and did not pay attention to all the details. So I was pleasantly surprised at the things included in the price, including a welcome drink, wine tasting at a local cellar, and a discount at a local food store - all were nice touches. The room itself had a lot of charm, and was surprisingly fine without air conditioning despite the 38C heat... just bring ear plugs so you can open the windows at night! The associated restaurant Toscana Al Vecchio Forno is excellent, highly recommended! Staff were all friendly, helpful, and efficient.
Nitpicking: a small walk from free parking (but it is an old town, it is clearly advertised, staff can help with luggage). A safety deposit box would be nice.

The room 'Peonia' war very very beautiful, the design is very nice and gives a warm feeling, the view was magical! very clean, we really appreciated that the extra pillow and blanket were actully packed in a plastic bag.

superb! very nice 3 minute walk to the secret garden in the village. Breakfast was great with allot of choice. Allot of friendly and helpfull people working for this family. amazing locations.
in the shower there was mold forming on the ceiling, as it is an old building the steam from the shower is probably not managed in a modern way... it doesn't look nice but shouldn't hurt... if it could be fixed that would be great then i dont have any negative comments.

Very nice room - I was in Violetta - in the center of pretty San Quiroco. I was so pleased with how clean it was, how nicely decorated it was, and how hospitable the staff was. This place is owned by a family that owns quite a few properties in town so they have many resources if you need anything. They own a very good restaurant about a 5 minute walk away. If breakfast is included in the room then you walk to the restaurant to eat. Clean, new bathroom with nice amenities. Loved this place and will stay again if I'm ever in tow.

Historical room in the heart of old San Quirico d’Orcia. The meals at the “Hotel Restaurant” were excellent with good service.
From the photos of the room we were expecting we ended up in a smaller room, but it all worked out.
