The view and the location are splendid, the apartment had all the amenities and kitchenware we needed, and the terasse over the Polače harbor was amazing

Very friendly host, good cooking facilities as well as great restaurants nearby. A pleasant balcony space with sea views and places of interest to walk to.

Very convenient, host were friendly and helpful. Free parking too which was a bonus. Place was clean and comfortable too, value for money.

The location is great! it is pretty quiet and definitely an excellent value for the price.
I don’t know about other units at the property, but we had no balcony, which wouldn’t be a problem if we had some sunny spot to dry our towels and swimming suits. We really missed that. On the other hand the house is huge and if we’d asked the host, they probably would’ve offered some solution to us. But we didn’t bother. And it could’ve been a tad cleaner. Especially the bathroom and the kitchenette.

If you are only looking for something to sleep in which is clean, I can recommend you this apartment! The balcony is cute and the location is great. I
There was hardly any water coming out of the shower. The cooker hardly worked either. There are also nicer hosts. For the price it is the most necessary but nothing more.

The host is very welcoming. The location is good, close to restaurants and beach and park entrance. The parking is free and the room is large, with a small kitchen, beds are comfortable and firm.
As a general rule, avoid this island, it is not ready for tourism at all. As a few examples, all payments are cash only (so Middle Age!) and you pay the same price as in a gastronomic Michelin star restaurant for a normal average meal. This goes without mentioning poor mobile phone signal all around the island.
About the place, in the first place, it is hard to find, there are no signs or numbers on the house, it is not even marked on Google Maps or other map apps.
The water pressure in the bathroom is a nightmare, it flows like a small stream. If you have long hair, honestly, forget about washing it here. Even with short hair a shower takes more than 20 minutes!
The bathroom smells of damp, moisture and sewage.
Very poor soundproofing, if you wish to sleep, it becomes very loud from 7.30am!
The room would benefit from a refurbishment and deep cleaning, there was dust under the bed, smashed bugs on the walls, spider webs in the rooms corners, stains on the bed sheets.
No card payment accepted or even bank transfer from euro account to euro account (note that Croatia will have Europe as only and official currency from 1st January 2023).
It is a real shame as the island is beautiful!

good location at the port of Polace
Our apartment with kitchen was not available due to a technical issue. An alternative room without kitchen was proposed.
Airco available for 5 euro extra per night. We were advised to open the window and sleep naked. :)
We had to pay prompt upon arrival or give our passports as collateral.
Unhelpful staff (at least so perceived by us), could not assist with anything, 'no' was her standard answer, so we gave up on the lady.
If you lower your expectations it can be a good stay for a few days though.

There were completely different photos of accommodation on website which were not related to the real appartment. It was bad experience - we stayed even shorter to get normal sleep somewhere else. There was no AC and mosquito nets as well.

it was a nice place, the owners were very friendly. They welcomed us with a shot to drink (not too strong). The view was wonderful.
Out of all the places we visited in Croatia, my boyfriend and I agreed that Mljet was the best. There is an amazing lake nearby that you really should see!

Apartment well located near the lake of Mljet National Park. Convenient parking place available near the apartment. There is a balcony very pleasant for breakfast !
Basic equipment. It was sometimes very difficult to take a shower due to very low pressure of water.

We loved the location, perfect to hike around the national park. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the patio was very nice...
The bed was not super comfortable, but it was not that bad either

The view and the bed are both great, especially the view. There are a handful of restaurants which I didn't try but looked nice. The apartment is located right on the path that leads into the nature reserve which was also handy.
That there wasn't any availability to book an extra night 🙂

We were pleasantly supriced by the beauty of the place, the location was also perfect. A few hundred yards from the ferry terminal. Marianna met us on arrival and offered us guidance and information, something rear these days to meet the host or a human for that matter. We also enjoyed that the family lived on site so anytime we needed guidance Marianna was there to help.
I also liked that we were enclosed by nature, fruit orchards and flowers. Colour and fragrance everywhere.

There was nothing we did not like about our stay. The accomudation, the host and the location were exceptionally perfect.

The location: in Pôlace just in the village. It is not indicated on door, we arrived at night and it was difficult to find it. The price is cheap
We spend a night in a DOUBLE ROOM ( I don’t know if it is different in other better rooms) No air conditionated in the room, only a ventilator that in August is too hotness to make any effect, we cannot sleep. I don’t know if in other rooms like the ones with terrace it is better, but instead of the very low price that we payed, if I would know it I would pay more for better conditions
