The host was very welcoming and helpful. Rooms were available early which was good. The breakfast terrace overlooked the river and the external spaces were well equipped and lovely to sit in. We had a few 'creatures' entering our room but that was the nature of the bedroom huts so was to be expected. Mosquito nets and spray was provided.

Nice vibe and environment
As it’s surrounded by many plants during rainy season u will have many unwanted guests(bugs, rats)

The family running the Cabana are very sweet and helpful, the whole atmosphere is very relaxed,.homely and friendly. We liked hanging out in the bar/lounge area where you can eat, play games, read.
It was easy to get into town by tuktuk, if you.want to walk it's also doable.
Be prepared with mosquito repellent as there are a lot, since it's by the water, and since the huts are quite basic the mosquito net provided is a must!

It has a bar / cafe by the river which is lovely. Good breakfast. The owner was really helpful about local places to visit.
It was really noisy at night with dogs barking all around, particularly next door. Very basic, more of a shed but it had everything we needed, no touches of care so felt a bit unloved. (Eg empty vases)
