It was a simple, comfortable well appointed room. It's location was good - only a short drive to the Newcastle Entertainment Centre. Communication was good and access was via a code so accessible at all times (no reception staff).
All rooms were upstairs. The TV didn't work. They did send someone promptly to try and fix but were unable to. The fire alarm went off about midnight and we had to evacuate - apparently a false alarm.

the room was great value for money close to hamilton food and restraunts as well as nice little pub next door
parking was a bit tight and no on site staff

It was clean and comfortable
The stairs, the hot water was intermittent, people staying in same place were dodgy one I’m sure was on drugs, was not told this was used as a link to home hotel, was disappointed in the amount spent to stay for two nights and the condition of the hotel
