Incredible views and surroundings. Luxurious houses. Super friendly hosts. Very good vibes. They also offer massage in a beautiful outside spot. Walking distance to other restaurants and cafés. What more do you need?! We extended our stay by an extra night because it was so relaxing. Highly recommend!

I had such an amazing stay in Embang Homestay! This the most beautiful accomodation I've stayed in so far (especially considering the value for money!), it's very clean, the bed is super comfy, and most of all the view on the rice fields is gorgeous! The Hosts are incredibly nice and make everything they can to give you the best experience (they bring the breakfast to your room if you want to, bring you complimentary pastries and drinks, clean the room everyday, and of course arrange massages, guide tours etc. if you need to). If you're coming to Sidemen, this is the place to stay!!

One of the best level of service we had in Bali: always an attention to us, with a bit of food, drinks, etc. Very nice view on rice fields. Delicious breakfast. Great hosts, super friendly! The quality is excellent for the price.

Great location, amazing hosts, and lovely stay overall! We really enjoyed staying at this homestay, they took great care of us! Also the view from the room is amazing! On our final day we had to leave very early, so the owners made sure that we had a breakfast box ready in our room so that we did not have to travel with an empty stomach. They were so super friendly and nice! A real recommendation when staying in Sidemen!😁

The location was incredible and the view from our room was stunning. You wake up to the mountain rising in front of you and paddy fields leading out from underneath your balcony. The entire area is quiet and very peaceful but has plenty of cozy little cafes and restaurants. It is essentially a village atmosphere. The bedroom was very comfortable and had most of the amenities one could need. There was plenty of space, which included our own balcony and small dining area. The toilet is large and has an open ceiling in the showering area. Ayu and the rest of the staff at Embang were wonderful and took excellent care of us. We would recommend trying out the Anandinii Organic Farm at the end of the road as one of your activities during your stay and also the teas and coffee from Warung Amrita just a short walk from Embang in the other direction. The sun rises behind the homestay and when it hits the mountain and paddy fields, the scenery is gorgeous and well worth an early morning wakeup to snap some photos if you're into that.

The hot water in our shower seemed to run out pretty quickly, after a couple of minutes of turning on the shower. This was not too much of an issue to me as I'm used to taking cold showers, but my wife did not particularly enjoy it. May be this issue was restricted to our unit. The one other thing (very minor) was that the lighting in our room/bungalow was not very good. This, again, was not a deal breaker for us, but worth pointing out.

Gorgeous place with fantastic value for money. The rooms are super charming and it's wonderful waking up to the sounds and view of the rice fields and the beautiful valley. The food, served by the friendly host and her family, was great as well.

Excellent view from room and balcony, very comfortable bed, quiet location with NO barking dogs or roosters. Very clean. Super friendly staff, and excellent food. This is THE best homestay we have stayed in Bali.

Absolutely nothing, we loved our stay at Embang Homestay.

My partner and I stayed 2 nights in this small but very cozy accommodation. We got an amazing and big room (with private bathroom) facing the rice terraces and with the sound of the river as background. The room looked exactly like the pictures on the web. The pro of this place is the stuff. They have been incredibly kind and welcoming. They also prepared for us breakfast in advance because we were starting one trip at 6am in the morning :) Breakfast is homemade and extremely good. They also have a warung where we had dinner for 2 night in a raw 😅 In conclusion the best place we have been in our 15 days trip in Bali. Highly recommended!

The place he clean and on excellent location

The view from the room is stunning. Bed is comfy enough, it wasn't hot without aircon because it was raining when I was there. Insects flew in but the bed netting kept them out. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast nasi goreng is delicious! Would definitely return :)

The open air bathroom was not a good idea during big rain haha but its a small issue no problem.

The staff made me feel warmly welcomed from the second I arrived until I left. The room was spacious with an amazing view and I did love the half open shower. The location is great as well, with a short walk to the rice field track and multiple eating possibilities close by.

one million dollars view, clean and comfortable room, staff kind and helpful

even though the WiFi is rated pretty high in this place it wasn’t so good. speed in my room was only up to 20 mbps which is okay for surfing/basic work but not enough for zoom calls. I ended sharing with myself mobile internet which worked well but mostly near or on the balcony

Just stay here! A magnificent view of the rice fields and the room was a lot better than what we expected. On top of everything you can order great food!

The room was very clean and comfortable, the setting idyllic and the outdoor shower was amazing! The owner was very kind and helpful.

Sometimes there would be some poop on the floor of the bathroom area behind the room, I'm guessing from a lizard or something. It's to be expected though and the niceness of the room outweighed this negative point.

Fantastic location. Didnt expect the view. The room and aminities are very good too. Very good hospitality. Especially Ayu. She is a great host. Must try for any bali trip if u want a serene stay

The location is beautiful, it's surrounded by nature and the view from the balcony and from the bedroom is breathatking. The room was clean and the bathroom was amazing. The breakfast and all the othet foods are delicious and they even served us anternoon tea! They helped us with the laundry and scooter renting as well. The ladies were always very nice and helpful. I can highly recommend this place and would definitely coose it again!

It doesn't happen often that I'm so stunned by a view. The price is perfect, the food is amazing and damn the view is breathtaking. Don't hesitate just come here! They help you with a hike in the ricefields with a guide, massages, everthing... and the prices are good (unlike tourist prices in ubud).

Only stayed one night, wished we could have stayed longer.

The ladies of Embang homestay are really lovely and took very good care of me. They were very thoughtful when I came back from my day, they had prepared hot water, drink and a snack for me in my room. I loved the view from my balcony and the massage pavilion is in the middle of the river fields which was a unique experience. It is very quiet and every morning you can hear the sounds of nature. I had initially planned only on staying 1 night but ended up extending my stay. Would definitely return here when I am in sidemen.

The mattress probably needs replacing?

This place is really worth your money, very friendly nice lady who welcomed us and the other people around were also super nice! I really love the view and the room is big and is super cozy

I liked everything

Ayu is a wonderful host. She is super sweet and very helpful. The food was excellent. We can highly recommend going to this beautiful, peaceful homestay with an amazing view!

This is one of my most favourite places in Bali. So tranquil and peaceful. The views are breath taking. The grounds are stunning. The staff are truly attentive and go out of their way to help. Ayu was such a joy to be around, so helpful and kind. There’s a beautiful private walk to the river. And there’s a massage bed in the middle of the river field, so glorious. If you come to Sideman, stay here. You won’t regret it. If you’re not staying, treat yourself to a massage in the rice-field.
