We were greeted warmly by our host, who showed us the room, asked about our breakfast preferences, etc. Breakfast was delivered on time to our room - excellent croissants, coffee and juice. It was a perfect overnight stop before catching the ferry to Messina. I can also recommend the KM0 (zero) restaurant for excellent food and friendly staff with a playlist of laid back jazz and Chicago blues.

Cosimo was very kind and welcoming and the place well located and comfortable. Cosimo also gave us a brilliant dinner recommendation.

The only thing good about the property was the young man assigned to take care of us. He tried his best.. but whoever owns and runs the property has set him up in a losing situation to ensure his guests have a good stay.
The entire listing is a complete falsehood.
It is not a B&B! Photos are fake. The sheets, linens, pillows are worn and dirty. The towels should be used to dry my car. The beds were cheap and felt like sheets of plywood. The heater did not heat, and controller was old and dysfunctional. The keys don’t work.. you need new locks. We had to put warm clothes on in bed too keep warm. There are no blankets. You have to be Houdini to find a way to sit in and use the toilet. Whoever wrote that listing presented an illusion of what we were paying money. Again, the young host was a perfect gentleman, kind, caring, respectful, and competent… but put into a no win situation. We use booking.com all the time. We should get a refund here!

Despite our reservation at 23:45 and late arrive at 0:20 we managed to check-in fast and smoothly having a small dog. The host was very kind and served a delicious breakfast in the morning. The room was clean and spacious.

Convenient to the ferry embarking facility. Our room overlooked the secure area where our motorcycle was parked.

-the owner was very nice and understanding with the fact that I couldn't offer an arrival time, as it depended on the ferry schedule
-it is very close to the ferry terminal so it's perfect for a night after or before taking the ferry to/from Sicily
- the room was very large and clean and had a nice balcony
- there is a private parking place just in front of the building (on the side of the road)
-I was able to check-out a bit later and it was no problem
-the owner asked for my preferences regarding breakfast and offered me what I chose. That was very nice!
-I could pay with a credit card

I just went for a quick staying, only for sleeping. The room was big. The staff was great and give all instructions well. Difficult to judge more than that due to the short staying.
The location was good, but difficult to walk there due to the inclined street. Nothing else to complain about.

Relaxed atmosfeer, close to the center, in the middle between Reggia and Scilla. So easy to visit both. Very good WiFi.

Very nice breakfast with the host asking for our wishes and picking fresh pastry from the shop!
Just a suggestion to make it perfect: Some detailed instructions on how to manage the access to the Ferry would have saved us some time the next morning. Not that this falls under the Host's responsibility but it would have been just useful

Basic but great location for the harbour, shops and restaurants. The host Cosimo, is lovely and super helpful. He even drove us to the bank. Good place for an overnight stop.
Only takes cash, but we managed to find a bank nearby.
