There was an odd smell in our room. It’s a 20 minute drive to get any food. The pool is lovely but chilly

The best place we've been! Stylish and comfortable room, large bathroom, wonderful breakfasts, starry sky and picturesque landscape! The room has everything you need, you can also use the kitchen. Thanks to the hosts for such a warm welcome, we felt like at home! Can't wait to visit you again!

Everything was great. The owners are some of the nicest people I have ever met. Breakfast was abundant and very tasty. The beds were comfortable, the pool was clean, the views are simply spectacular. Remote from everything, a place to relax and contemplate, yet close to the beach and other areas. Thank you so much for your hospitality, we hope to be back!

Since there is a shared kitchen and sitting area, it might be better to book the whole place for one group of people. We had no problem with it though.

The accommodation was spacious, comfy and beautifully decorated. Views all around astounding. Close to the coast...you can see the sea and coastal towns in Portugal and Spain but out of the concrete jungle of coastal resorts. Plenty of stunning drives from here. Great breakfast. Delicious cake from Ophelia and Agostinho a perfect host always ready to help and go the extra mile. If you want to see the real Algarve stay here and avoid the crowds in Tavira and other tourist towns. We loved cacela Velha and the salt marsh reserve at castro Marim. Lovely deck and pool for warm weather. Shared kitchen and lounge with books, chess table etc.

Great breakfast, with occasional excellent cake just out of the oven. Peaceful location with beautiful view of the montes alentejanos. Great restaurant nearby for grilled meat dishes (Bela Vista).
