As the name suggests, Budget Motel is a no-frills, budget-friendly option in a convenient location, within walking distance of Midland Gate, the train station, and tucked around the back of a pub. The room was reasonably clean. It’s a basic, affordable place to hang your hat for a night if keeping costs down is the priority.

The front door. The key could hardly open it. Had to wriggle and jiggle it. At first I thought it was the wrong key. Had six goes until it eventually opened.
