Tutto perfetto, Gianni e Maria gentilissimi! Appartamento pulitissimo e in una posizione ottima.

We liked the privacy, and the fantastic views, and lovely setting with olive trees, lemon trees, and some other fruit tree that I could not identify. It was very peaceful and quiet, and we had a little outdoor patio area, that we could sit and look at the vineyards in the view out in the distance. The host Gianni, was extremely gracious, and offered us a taste ( glass) of his homemade wine, which was superb, it tasted exactly like the Reserve wine that we had had in town, if not better. And then we just bought a $10 bottle of wine from him.. Fantastic.

In the listing it had said it was a 15 minute walk to town, but it was really 1.5 miles and more like a 35 to 40 minute walk and we are fast walkers. So we opted to drive into the town and it is pretty difficult to find a spot for your rental car. So we had to pay for parking a couple of times because walking to the property was not an option. Also, in the listing, they said, there would be a bathrobe and toiletries, however, there was no bathrobe available, and the only toiletry was one pump soap to use that we had to use by the bathroom sink and also in the shower. Thank goodness I brought my own shampoo with me. You never know. And if you only stay one night, the washer for laundry is NOT available as in Europe there is no dryer available and you would need an extra day to hang everything out on hanging dryer to hang in the air. Bring euros to pay your five euro tax upon arrival..

Absolutely enchanting property and excellent location very close to Montepulciano - the hosts were impeccable and warm and really made our stay special!

Gianni and Maria are the best hosts! Gianni is so kind and thoughtful. Parking is free and really easy. The room was spacious and spotless (shower was superb). The views of the Olive Trees and beyond are simply beautiful. The two sausage dogs are adorable also. I can't recommend this accomodation enough. Gianni arranged a shuttle bus to a neighboring restaurant where the food was delicious. The drive into Montepulciano is 5 mins and there are plenty of pay and display car parks which are cheap! Don't leave without buying a bottle of Gianni's wine, it is delicious!

The only thing (which is just the nature of being in rural Italy) is that we did get bitten quite a bit so recommend citronella candles, spray etc.
