Very friendly host (Delphine & Cristoff), beautiful gardens and comfortable pool & loungers, well stocked house equipment. Location very peaceful. Short drives to Honifleur etc and well located for exploring.

If we’re being picky it would have been useful to have hand soaps in bathrooms / kitchen & written check out instructions. Also had a few hornets buzzing round the light on the patio in the evenings, but fairly insignificant in the scheme of things.

Nice quiet location close to nearby town with excellent food and shop options

Fijn huis, veel badkamers, mooie tuin

It was an excellent location for getting out and about as well as a great space for relaxing with the pool and large grounds. Trees in the garden and plenty of sun umbrellas meant you could find a shady spot. The hammock and sun loungers were also enjoyed for relaxing in the sun. Having a well equipped ensuite for each bedroom made it really convenient for our group. The kitchen facilities ( dishwasher, washing machine, large fridge freezer, cooker and microwave) were also very good and made self catering easy. The choice of an inside and outside dining space was great and we used both areas a lot as well as the BBQ. Having 3 external doors out it made it feel spacious with 6 adults especially as two of the bedrooms could be accessed without going through the kitchen which was useful when using the outside pool. The bedroom windows and doors also had black out blinds which helped to keep them cool in the heat. We really enjoyed our holiday in Normandy and were so glad we found Ndila Cottage.

The wooden furniture was beautiful but it made us a little nervous even though we used the tablecloth, trivets and coasters. I think if a plastic backed tablecloth and tablemats were provided in the dining room it would have made us feel more comfortable about not causing any damage as the dining table had to double as a worktop prep area due to limited kitchen worktop. Enough coasters to use in the bedrooms for drinks would also have been convenient.
