The location, for us was superb! The air was fresh and clean making us feel quite 'alive' at quite a high altitude It is an incredible geological area of deep valleys, with little hamlets dotting the steep slopes. We stayed a week and could have stayed longer! The area provides such good walking, with well marked tracks. Some of the walks are quite challenging, but the flora and bird life make it all quite delightful. The cottage was well appointed and there was plenty of provision for sitting out in shade or sun and for having barbecues.

The main downstairs area, whilst comfy with a lovely log burning fire, was a little dark for us. But that was compensated for by a delightfully light bedroom with a comfy sofa to sit on and look out on superb views. 😀

The location was amazing. A bit of a trek but worth it.

The kitchen needs to be improved. No oven and the microwave has no combi function and the turntable didn’t turn so difficult to cook anything. No plug in sink , no draining area for dishes. No wood for outside bbq so if you don’t bring your own it’s a long drive to nearest shop. If there was wood it wasn’t offered. We had to pay extra for our dog but ended up with the property’s dog spending the whole stay with us, which wasn’t a problem as he was very sweet.
