This family owned lodge is wonderful! The pool is gorgeous, I was in it at least twice a day. The central location fantastic. And the Jalapeño cafe delicious. Air conditioning and ceiling fan kept the whole room very cool.

I was a little taken aback by the rustic nature of my basic room ( I had one of the older ones), but soon learned that the austere nature of the room is exactly what you need at a beach lodge. Easy to clean, cool, and relaxing after a hot day playing in the ocean surf.

Exceptional

The hosts are a lovely family. We have stayed before and now found the new rooms in development and a beautiful new pool. Such a convenient spot for the beach with a great cafe for breakfast and lunch.

Good value location

Good Value comfy rooms, one half of the staff was helpful and helped arrange Covid test and printed it out for me.

One half of the staff was not very welcoming, tried to connect few times. Water was out once and got charged for buying bottled water.

Hood place to spend a night or two

Spacious room, good location within walking distance to the beach. Comfy beds.

Some key kitchen equipment missing like a kettle, there is a coffee machine but no coffee provided, a few spoons of coffee would be nice. No paper towels either. No salt or pepper. all that makes catering for yourself a hit difficult despite having a kitchen space.

Superb

Keilyn was very kind and attentive and offered the best service. the rooms are perfect if you want to have the basics to cook breakfast or a simple meal. the facilities are great and very close to the beach too. highly recommend staying here!

some naughty ants got in our bed and bit us overnight, nothing too unbearable

Very good

Just a short stroll to the beautiful Playa Negra Beach. Great healthy restaurants in walking distance. Keilyn, our hostess lives rifht next door so very available and accomodating!

My room had a biew on the parking lot so I left the curtains closed. There was no sign and no specific address on the road so my GPS kept telling me I’d arrived but there was only a closed gate with no indication that I was at the right place. Someone at the restaurant a few doors away called to advise Keilyn that I had arrived. She then explained that the sign had blown away in a storm. 😊.

Absolutely perfect!

I loved the location in the middle of town and walking distance to the beach. Keilyn is the perfect hostess always checking to see if I have everything. She always anticipated my needs and set me up with easy and convenient solutions for my covid test for my return flight. The food at their restaurant was outstanding. It was very quiet, peaceful and private. The gardens were very delightful. Lots of places to relax and hang out. The pool was well maintained. Alex who does all the maintenance and cleaning was fast, thorough and considerate. The kitchen was fully equipped and easy to use. They have a large refrigerator with plenty of space. They have a large gate that they lock at night. Its definitely my favorite place to stay in Playa Negra.

I loved everything about this place. There isnt a single thing to not like
