Lala Panzi B&B

This is a great B&B with a lovely outlook from the terrace. The owner was away so we missed the stories, however the team looking after the B&B were amazing. They were friendly, helpful and efficient. The place is spotlessly clean, the breakfast is plentiful and freshly cooked to order. Many thanks to Zuki, Vuvu, Cindi & Elliot.

Nothing

The place is amazing. The owner is fascinating and we had great chats. He also supported us when there was a problem and I cannot fault this place.

The room and the shared balcony were large and the views were great. The pool was refreshing and very clean. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating.

The AC was broken/not turned on during the evenings throughout our stay so it was very hot overnight which impacted on sleep. We heard other guests complain about this. Also, the breakfast was several tiers less nice than other breakfasts we had at similar stops during our travels along the garden route.

The bedroom was gorgeous, with massive bathroom and great shower. The breakfast was also very nice, and there was plenty of safe parking.

Sadly, the admin here was not good. Our request for 2 separate beds was not met on our arrival and we had a quite awkward conversation to ensure that the second bed was prepared whilst we were at dinner. The location, although safe enough, was a long way from any restaurants and the (unchecked) advice to go to a nearby eatery (which was fully booked with a wedding) resulted in a return to the property to get the car and find somewhere else at short notice. All our other hosts have helped out by actually booking the restaurant for us! Repeated requests online to pay the final amount were also a nuisance, especially as we had already agreed to pay half the sum on booking, and the second half at the property.
