Very handy location
Excellent food in the restaurant
Very friendly and helpful staff
When we booked the Shandwick Inn we saw it included breakfast
We expected a cooked or continental breakfast but we got a breakfast in a bag which was left outside our bedroom door late in the evening
The contents of the bag were okay but the lack of choice meant there were several items in each bag which we would not eat
The tap in our room(No3) was extremely stiff and difficult to move
There was a heated towel rail in the bathroom but the on/off switch is in the bedroom and is not marked as such
There are no staff in the Inn overnight
The car park is in need of maintenance

Room was comfortable and very quiet although situated above a very busy pub.
Bed very comfortable
Continental breakfast which was delivered to room was good.
Large car park and hotel has easy access to main road
Staff helpful and helped with luggage
Stair access could be problematic
My wife struggled slightly on them
Only other recommendation is the shower room which is large well ventilated and clean and tidy with fresh towels provided daily which is good however in this large room there was no bathroom furniture to put toiletries make up etc only a small glass shelf at mirror
A small table / drawers would be of use
Just a thought

It’s is set in a beautiful part of the world
The decor was a bit tired and it’s right above a noisy restaurant, to be fair I’ve had a lot lot more from places I’ve stayed for a lot less , I thought it was overpriced for what we had but it was clean and comfy .

"The room was cosy , nice big bathroom. The continental breakfast was great for us as we don't usually eat breakfast. Meals were exceptional and excellent value. Staff were very pleasant, knowledgeable..."
