Fabulous apartment for a family of four. It had everything we needed and was in a fantastic part of Venice.

Convenient Location-  a few minutes from the famous Rialto Bridge and Grand Canal, this allowed us to explore the city primarily on foot Well-Equipped Kitchen- all  the basics needed for our stay, including coffee maker. We had breakfast each day, plus one takeaway dinner. Good Sleeping Conditions: Ca' Venissa surprised us with its relative quiet. Additionally, the shutters let us get the room really dark, which we prefer for sleep.

Unreliable Internet- the Wifi connection  proved to be quite problematic, leading us to restart the device multiple times each day. Even when it was working it tended to be quite slow. Unavailable Laundry Facilities - the washing machine was located in a locked closet, and by the time we figured things out it was too late to start (since everything needs to air dry). Lack of Door in Master Bathroom - we knew this would be an issue when we booked, but we also knew there was a second bathroom with a proper door, so we just used that one. This might be more difficult for those traveling with companions or family members. Dim Stairway at Night - the stairway leading to the apartment was quite dim during nighttime.

Very conveniently located with great support for any needs from hostess. She was flexible and delightful to work with to make our stay wonderful.

After booking and paying on the site, we were asked to add an additional 60 euros in cash as the price listed on booking.com was incorrect. Still a good price but we would have been more comfortable if all payments were done via the site

The property was central and easy to all parts of Venice. it was surround but quick bites, restaurants and wind bars. The host was amazing, easy to reach and provided plenty of detail to truely enjoy Venice

A beautiful apartment in a wonderful location. Away from the hustle and noise of the tourist sites (just a short walk)! Gave us a chance for a short stroll through the real neighborhoods of Venice. The hostess was very communicative and accommodating. Had no worries before I arrived and it was the same throughout our stay! Beds were sooo comfortable. The bunk bed was a little high for my cautious kids (and similarly cautious mom), but there was a comfy padded cushion that we unfolded on the floor for our youngest. We were a family of four (kids 11 and 14) and it was perfect!
