The owner was really lovely we travel dwn to bring our daughter bk to uni every year and always use George guest house

Location was great, right by The Hoe, pub next door is not an issue at all, we were in the front room and were not disturbed. Nigel was a lovely host, very patient and helped with parking. The porridge pots and ample tea and coffee was a nice addition. Room was clean and tidy.
No body wash/shampoo in the shower. Not a problem at all just make sure you bring your own! Unfortunately, I did get bed bugs from one of the beds when I stayed here, though Nigel was lovely about it over the phone and I have no doubt he has treated the room already. My grandma did not have any bites at all though, so likely only one bug who liked me very much which can easily be treated!
