Amazing location. We saw tonnes of wildlife, including a sloth and toucans in the tree right next to our deck in number 6.
Bed was super comfy.
Could use a bedside lamp

Great views trail at the property, well maintained nice garden,
excellent 5 star food beautifully decorated, friendly staff
You could see the bungalows were renovated. There was a nice balcony.
Basic furniture the bungalows. too many beds in one room, not very cosy
There was no shampoo. Road was not easy to get there.

Room was spacious, clean & comfortable. I guess they put the big headboards in afterwards. Had to get to staff to help us find how to switch on ceiling fan - it was hidden behind the headboard! Shower was huge. Just remember its not a hotel & bring your shampoo/shower gel.
Great views, nice hike, gave us a taste of what the hanging bridges would be like. Breakfast was very good, dinner was not available but they had menus & ordered us food to be delivered. That was very good also. Just expect a very bumpy ride up to the hotel!

it was a pretty bumpy drive up the hill!

Lovely rooms, comfortable beds, excellent gardens and well maintained jungle trails. Food was good.
Our air con was not working and the fan in the room was quite loud. This may only have been a problem in our room and it was cool enough at night that it wasnt a big issue as our windows opened

Beautiful views, including from the room itself. The lodge has its own hiking trails which is fun, time and bad weather prevented us from enjoying them.
Our stay was extremely rainy and windy, and the room didn't insulate any of the noise. It also hurt us from enjoying the area. Obviously not the property's fault but it still wasn't fun. No hot water in the shower and bad wifi.
We arrived late and were told we can't have dinner because we didn't reserve it in time - nobody told us about this in advance, we would have reserved online given the chance. Front desk clerk was helpful in ordering in food from the town instead. We couldn't eat it on pur porch without attracting huge cicadas.

Comfortable room, the staff is very friendly and it has beautiful trail with fantastic hanging bridges in the property.
Could be more clean. especially the bathroom.

Friendly and helpful staff with clean, luxurious rooms that (obviously) come at a price. The accessibility of good forest trails (especially the one with hanging bridges) is a huge added bonus as they are each at less than 5 minutes walk from your accommodation. The (included) breakfast was very good indeed.
At the time of our visit, as we were the only guests, the hotel restaurant was not open (except for breakfast) meaning a drive down the steep dirt road into town was needed or alternatively, for a delivery fee, a takeaway meal could be brought up by motorbike from a restaurant in town (the hotel reception helped with the ordering of this). We preferred the drive to town option given the excessive packaging that came with the takeaway option.

Great Location, super friendly staff, superb night tour and best of all amazing hanging bridges.
cabins could need a little fresh up and therefore a little overpriced at least with our deal at booking.

great location
road getting there is a bit rough

Gorgeous gardens, views and a huge
room. The staff was great and made a
wonderful dinner for us even though
we arrived so late. We loved walking
their hanging bridges and saw a sloth.
This was a perfect first place to stop
from Liberia and a short drive the next
morning to Rio Celeste. Wish we
could have stayed longer.
nothing -but it is a gravel road up to
the property so be prepared to drive
slowly.

Absolutely amazing experience! They waited up for us to get there since we were running behind and prepared a breakfast for us when we needed to leave early. They welcomed us so well and made us feel very safe! Amazing place to stay!

The rooms are incredible, beautiful pods in the middle of the jungle with a beautiful view. We stayed here for one night to see Rio Celeste, definitely worth it. The rooms are really special, and the shower looking out into the jungle was a great touch. The gardens in the grounds are worth coming for a visit themselves, we saw so many birds and the hanging bridge experience is breathtaking, plus so great this is included in the price of your stay. Also would really recommend getting the marmalade at breakfast, that stuff is so tasty.
Loved everything.

Hotel setting, view and location were incredible. Rainforest directly in your backyard and very private and peaceful. The breakfast was delicious, very filling and service was great.
Insonorisation between our cabin and adjoining one was poor. Fortunately the entire place goes silent around 9 pm!

The location was beautiful. Gardens, view, staff, meals. Wonderful.
the front door to our room number 7 was warped. The winds were quite high and they would pull the door in an out causing it to bang throughout the night. Did not make for a pleasant sleep.

It’s very secluded, lots of wind and nature all around. Very pretty place! the rooms where great, all wood. It’s located near some adventure parks. Staff was excellent!!!
nothing, it was great!

If you don't want to have breakfast while looking at Toucans and other wild birds eating 5 feet from you and if you don't want to walk out on one of the property's trails looking for sloths, you should not come here. I have no way of describing this as anything short of Paradise, GREAT value for the price!

Great nature location, spotless clean rooms, mostly with a good view (even to Lake Nicaragua), good WiFi everywhere. Best: free usw of their great trails with hanging bridges and really tasty breakfast (choice of tipico, American or continental)
Restaurant not open for dinner, so either they assist for food delivery from Bijagua or you just drive there yourself (as we did)

our room didn’t have any wifi signal, so we notified the front desk and they very graciously upgraded us to a huge private cabin with wifi. the staff were very helpful and made sure our stay was perfect. the hanging bridges and trails on this property were amazing! worth staying here for access to them, honestly my favorite hanging bridges while visiting Costa Rica.

It took some time for the wc to flush

Everything about this ecolodge was amazing. The wife and husband who own and operate the lodge are the NICEST people. The lodge itself is located in paradise - on the side of the volcano, in the middle of nature. The grounds of the lodge contains their own trails through the forest that you can walk in - and some of the trails have suspension bridges that traverse between the canopy and the floor of the forest! The cabins are also beautiful, feeling close to nature - but also comfortable :) THE BREAKFAST WAS AMAZING! Also very close to the entrance to the national park for more hiking. Will definitely come back!

Staff wonderful, breakfast good and plentiful, view outstanding.
No screens on windows, some lights did not work, ceiling fan did not work (but they did have a floor fan). Entire place needs attention. Storage with blankets musty and smelling of mildew.

Breakfast was fabulous, not only very tasty but beautifully presented! The trails were well kept and and the surrounding nature was so green and lush! Great place to get in touch with nature again!
it would've been better if the hotel also served lunch and dinner but it is understandable why they don't since we are in a serious phase of the pandemic.

A beautiful place in an exceptional location. The room had awesome views. The owners welcomed us and were very friendly and helpful. It´s great to be able to use the hotel´s own hanging bridges.
