Clifton Arms Hotel

The location, the staff and quality of the breakfast.

The room was tired with mismatched furniture, and fraying carpet, its the worst room we have had at this hotel, the view was poor, not much they can do about that though. I had stayed 2 weeks previously and at breakfast toast was brought to you by the waitress, so expecting the same as previous stays we asked for toast, 2 slices were plonked down on a plate, not even cut or on a toast rack, we were then told you can get your own if you want. For the price point of the hotel its a shame they are going down that route the little things make it special. The hairdryer had no nozzle apparently its std without one now when I asked. The lunch time sandwiches are overpriced and served with no side salad anymore.

The rooms were fab breakfast was spot on

The Location is perfect, right on the seafront and very close to really nice bars and restaurants. The hotel is lovely and all the staff really helpful, nothing is too much trouble.

Lovely location, great food, nice rooms

There was a wedding and the music in the general area was uncomfortably loud. In the bedroom it was too loud to sleep
