although it mentioned that there was a track in and low base vehicles could find it challenging... what we didn't know was that it was a 20-minute at a snail's pace drive that only a 4-wheel drive could manage. It was late in the evening when we arrived and so even if we did not want to drive in we would not have been able to find alternative accommodation at that hour. As we rounded each corner we thought... it must be around the next one.... then the next one... etc....for a good 20 minutes....... As it turned out I took out the sump on my last trip( of the 2 trips in and 2 trips out ). I really think it should have been made VERY clear the state of the road. The stay itself was incredible. The location was incredible. However, I would not have booked it if it was made clear EXACTLY what to expect of the road in and out. The insurance for the damage to the car became null and void as they claimed I had taken the car off road..... $3500 including mileage etc. and rising

The location was amazing and the cabin was very comfortable and cosy. The kitchen was well equipped and the gas oven and cook top were great. the beds were very comfortable and the cabin was clean and tidy when we arrived. I’m glad we drove in in my Hyundai Venue, as I’m not sure my Getz would have coped with the drive in. this is a very special part of the world and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to other travellers.

The the gaslighter was empty and there weren’t many live matches that we could find. The bbq wasn’t clean and we quickly decided to use the indoor oven. Having said that, the cabin itself was very clean, the beds very comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

An exquisite location to relax, unwind, soak up nature and read.

It's probably better to have a 4WD as the road to the cabin is unsealed.

The igniter for the grill and oven both didn’t work The DVD player gave a disc read error after initially working All the spot lights in the property weren’t working and so there was no reading light at night and because the room lighting is low voltage you can’t read by it. The fan did not work in the gas heater The fridge was wet very cold and froze the food we left near the top. There’s quite a bit of chipped/ damaged crockery and melted utensils that could use an update. An egg flipper would be a great addition.

Outstanding location, just behind the dunes in the middle of a National Park. Beautiful beach just metres from the door, bushwalks if you feel up to it, very comfirtable accomidation if you just want to quietly relax.

Access road is passable, but a litle rough in a lower-clearance non 4WD car.

The spot is amazing and it would be great in summer for the family

The drive in is a bit crazy probably should have a 4x4 or suv
