The breakfast was average, but provided all the essentials.
Host (bartender) was uninformative, borderline surly. The lady at the desk was very nice.

Good breakfast- hot and freshly prepared.
On the day of arrival at 3 pm, the reception was closed. Possibly because the check in time was 4 pm.

The location was good. The bed was comfortable and the bedding was clean. There was a good supply of tea, coffee and biscuits in the room.
Breakfast was served cheerfully and was generous.
The City Inn is much in need of renovation and was quite tatty! The bathroom was particularly shabby. The whole place is stuck in the eighties!
