The Lion & Key Hotel

We had a really lovely stay at the Lion & Key Hotel in London and would definitely recommend it. The staff are absolutely great — friendly, welcoming and very helpful. The hotel itself is modern, spotlessly clean and really comfortable. The food in the hotel restaurant is fantastic! 😍 We really enjoyed eating there and were very impressed with the quality. The room had everything we needed, including a fridge, lovely comfortable bedding and, something I really appreciated, a window that actually opens for some fresh air! There is also a car park available if you pre-book, which is a huge bonus when staying in London. Overall, a lovely modern, clean and comfortable hotel with great staff and fantastic food. We would definitely stay again! ❤️

There were just a few small things that could have made our stay even better. We found the bed a little on the small side for two people and it felt more like a small double. We struggled to get comfortable, so my husband ended up sleeping on the sofa bed, which worked out fine. The internet in our room was a little slow at times, but this wasn’t a major issue for us. The TV was also slightly smaller than we expected, and we found the picture quite dark. We couldn’t seem to adjust the picture settings, so this could perhaps be improved. These were only minor points though, and they certainly didn’t take away from the positives of the hotel. Overall, we had a lovely stay.

The location of the hotel was perfect for what we wanted. The fact that the the restaurant was open all day was very good, and the staff couldn't have been more helpful.

We ordered our evening meal, admittedly as 3 separate couples, but we were all sat together. The meals came out approx 15 minutes apart, which meant we were all eating at different times.

The restaurant was good.

The sound proofing was non existent - I could hear the man in the next talking for hours & there snoring all night. The room was located on the ground floor by the stairs so could hear people returning to the hotel all night - not very restful!
