LA MAISON hotel & spa

The hotel had been recommended to me, especially based on its well-known culinary excellence, so I was very keen to try that! I wasn't disappointed at all! The menu choice is not massive, and they have obviously opted to concentrate on a smaller selection of freshly-cooked food, using first-class ingredients. I was not disappointed, and the three courses all stood out as being perfectly-cooked. The breakfast was not a buffet as far as the hot dishes were concerned, and I chose an omelette, which was again cooked perfectly! I must also mention the spa facilities! There is a choice of light and airy saunas, and a large steam room, as well as a relaxation room and a pool outside. The facilities were spotlessly clean, and a pleasure to use. The staff also deserve a mention, and the young lady on reception couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. I gave value for money the top rating here, but this is not a cheap hotel. There is a difference between cheap and offering good value for money! For what it offers, the hotel is good value, but it's not a cheap bed for the night! It is a quality, refined experience!

I honestly can't think of anything! If you are looking for an inexpensive roof over your head for the night, this is not the place, but if you are looking for somewhere you will remember, a place to enhance your stay in central Saarlouis, then I would wholeheartedly recommend it!

Les oreillers sont très inconfortables malheureusement Également le manque de clim est vraiment un soucis car l’hôtel se trouve à côté d’une route passante , impossible d’ouvrir la fenêtre la nuit. Nous avons demandé de décaler le Check out de 1h, ce n’était pas possible .. et nous avons attendu 30min debout à la réception : alors que nous aurions pu attendre à la piscine. Dans des prestations haut de gamme - cela est légèrement décevant, surtout un dimanche.

Staff provided incorrect information regarding the à la carte dining options, which led to confusion and dispute. Additionally, the breakfast area was too crowded due to spa day guests!
